Eric Delgado is a seasoned entrepreneur and renowned expert in enhancing operational efficiency and profitability, with a career spanning over two decades in startup leadership.
He holds an undergraduate degree from Loyola University New Orleans and a Master of Real Estate from Georgetown University.
Eric’s entrepreneurial journey is marked by his involvement in eight early-stage companies, diversifying his experience across various sectors from food and beverage in New Orleans, to spearheading a national asset management firm overseeing assets worth over $9 billion. All of these ventures continue to thrive as fully operational entities.
In the early 2000s, Eric co-founded MCM Capital, and as a Founding Member and Director, he played a pivotal role in establishing it as one of the premier private asset management firms in the United States. His leadership and strategic vision were also instrumental at Shyft Moving, a venture-backed tech company in San Francisco, where he served as President. At Zippy Shell Inc., he was a founding member and contributed significantly to its growth, making it the second-largest containerized storage and moving company in the country.
Eric’s expertise extends to fundraising, where he has successfully led Series A and B funding rounds and capital raises for numerous companies. Alongside his business partner, he has also invested in early-stage ventures, most notably in the prop-tech and publishing industries, demonstrating his knack for identifying and nurturing promising startups.
Currently, Eric is channeling his extensive experience and entrepreneurial acumen into Izinga, a consulting and outsourcing firm he founded. As Managing Director, he is committed to guiding businesses to establish solid foundations, ensuring they are well-positioned for sustained growth and success.

Since the age of eight, Erik has been involved in flipping homes alongside his parents. In 1987, at just 19 years old, he began his career in real estate, selling properties in the San Fernando Valley. By 1992, Erik received his first REO (Real Estate Owned) assignment, marking the start of a distinguished career working with major banks, servicers, and government agencies, including Fannie Mae and HUD. Today, Erik is the Broker/Owner of Cambridge Homes, with offices in both North Los Angeles and the Palm Springs area. Throughout his career, he has been fortunate to build lasting relationships with friends and colleagues in the industry. One of the greatest honors has been serving on the board of the National Association of Default Professionals (NADP), where he has contributed to the legislation and advocacy efforts, closely monitoring legal changes that impact the industry. More recently, Erik has helped lead webinars addressing critical issues facing the industry today.
When Erik isn’t working, his greatest joy comes from spending time with his kids, whether surfing or skiing, making cherished memories in the outdoors.
