Mary Best Brill
Vice President, Saas Sales, Equator Altisource
Mary Best Brill is currently a Vice President SaaS Sales specializing in Equator, RentRange, NestRange and Hubzu sales for Altisource.
Mary is an experienced industry partner who began her career in real estate as a Realtor with Coldwell Banker. Mary moved into institutional asset management, managing wholly owned portfolios of California assets, then on to managing a national portfolio with JP Morgan Chase Bank. She also specializes in complex litigation cases providing resolution and testimony when needed in Court.
2006-2008: President of NADP (REOMAC), a trade association for lenders, servicers, attorneys and title companies, and real estate agents. 2014-2020: US REO Partners broker association, Director of Member and Client Relations. Mary spent six years managing the association where she successfully created opportunities for the agent members and was responsible for raising over $500,000 for the St. Jude Children’s Hospital through the US REO Partners annual client appreciation event at the Five Star Conference. She is also an active supporter of several broker associations including NRBA, REOBroker.com and ERN.
Michael Krein
President of National REO Brokers Association
Michael Krein is a retired real estate executive and one of the most successful REO and distressed property brokers in the industry. Over his career, he personally listed and sold more than 25,000 single-family residences, at times managing up to 3,600 properties annually with a lean team. He has owned and managed multiple independent and franchised real estate offices, including regional ownership for national franchises.
Michael is the founding President of the National REO Brokers Association (NRBA), where members specialize in REO, short sales, and distressed real estate transactions nationwide. He is widely recognized as a leading expert on REO and distressed property sales and is a sought-after speaker and author on real estate brokerage operations.
A strong advocate for community outreach and homeownership, Michael has been recognized for his work supporting first-time and underserved homebuyers and frequently speaks for national and diversity-focused real estate organizations. His latest initiative, HouseKarma.us, focuses on expanding homeownership opportunities through first-look programs and reduced-cost pathways for buyers.

Since the age of eight, Erik has been involved in flipping homes alongside his parents. In 1987, at just 19 years old, he began his career in real estate, selling properties in the San Fernando Valley. By 1992, Erik received his first REO (Real Estate Owned) assignment, marking the start of a distinguished career working with major banks, servicers, and government agencies, including Fannie Mae and HUD. Today, Erik is the Broker/Owner of Cambridge Homes, with offices in both North Los Angeles and the Palm Springs area. Throughout his career, he has been fortunate to build lasting relationships with friends and colleagues in the industry. One of the greatest honors has been serving on the board of the National Association of Default Professionals (NADP), where he has contributed to the legislation and advocacy efforts, closely monitoring legal changes that impact the industry. More recently, Erik has helped lead webinars addressing critical issues facing the industry today.
When Erik isn’t working, his greatest joy comes from spending time with his kids, whether surfing or skiing, making cherished memories in the outdoors.
