Michelle Gilbert
Gilbert Garcia Group, P.A.

James Lewin

James F. Lewin represents lenders, servicers, investors, foreclosure trustees and related business entities in state and federal court in the areas of foreclosure, bankruptcy and unlawful detainer with approximately twenty (20) years of experience.  James specializes in defending against borrower actions alleging lender and servicer liability, title issues and wrongful foreclosure claims. In the bankruptcy area, James specializes in the areas of relief from the automatic stay, lien stripping, objections to plan confirmation and defense of objections to secured and unsecured claims.  James is admitted to practice in the states of California and Washington and before the United States District Courts for the Southern, Central, Eastern and Northern Districts of California. James is admitted to practice before the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals, has served on the Board of Directors of the San Diego Bankruptcy Forum and is a member of the United Trustees Association.

Keller Mackie

Keller Mackie is a 4th generation Texan from Fort Worth who serves as MWZM’s President and Chief Information Security Officer.  He has over twenty-five years of experience in mortgage banking issues related to residential mortgage origination and servicing. Keller is licensed to practice law in Massachusetts and Texas and is a frequent speaker at mortgage banking/servicing conferences.

C. Lance Margolin,  is Partner Emeritus and Director of Eviction and REO Services at The Margolin & Weinreb Law Group, LLP.  He has been representing the mortgage default industry for over 30 years and concentrates his practice in: foreclosures (residential and commercial), REO’s, evictions and title litigation. The firm represents many national lenders/servicers as well as hedge funds and individual investors. A 1983 graduate of the University of Bridgeport School of Law (now known as Quinnipiac School of Law), Mr. Margolin was admitted to practice law in NY in 1984.  During his 30+ year tenure in the default industry, Mr. Margolin has been at the forefront of the default servicing industry. He has spoken at many lender and servicer conferences, he has hosted and has been a speaker on many webinars and trade events as well and countless industry-related functions.
